When the ordeal was done, the sun shone through the trees, casting rosy streaks on the ground. Nadina looked down upon her newborns, and was surprised to see two pale pelts. The family's curse...no. This was a blessing. They looked nothing like their father. The she-wolf smiled and hot tears well in her eyes and spilled over their rims. Never mind the pelts...she finally had a family. It was a small one, and she had no mate by her side, but her heart overflowed with love for her pups immediately. No matter what, she would protect them. They now made up her world.

Nadina has always been one of my favorite DotW
characters, I absolutely love her. Shes so beautiful
and overall just a great character.
And you always do such an amazing job at
drawing her and many of your other characters.
This scene is so sad but also beautiful, though
the pups came to be due to something so
traumatizing. It shows you just how strong
Nadina is, because even though they are a
reminder of her attack.
I doubt it would have
ever made her love them any less or more had
they been born through a consensual relationship.
And I don't see her ever have wishing them away.
